Well we had a great Christmas with Riley. He was his usual happy and entertaining self. He wanted to open all the gifts he could. He really loved the bags with paper in them and he would tear the paper out and then move on to the next one with paper. His favorite toys were a Tonka truck he can put all his blocks in and ride. He hasn't figured out the correct way to ride in it, but he loves the back of it because he fits perfectly in there. His next favorite is his climbing mats from Uncle Brian, Aunt Jess and cousin Hailey. However, I think his favorite toy of them all is his Thomas the Train ride. Yes! He can ride it. It makes a lot of noise and he loves it. We are thinking that will go right in his room and he can ride it in there. It is so loud. Mark's and my favorite toy of Riley's is his tunnels. They are quite and they keep him occupied for longer than five minutes. We hope you all had a great Christmas and we wish you a Happy New Year!!!

Broken Bone
Well we have had our first broken bone and at 10 months old. Merry Christmas! Mark and I just spent the last few hours at Urgent Care with Riley because he managed to break his collar bone. We don't know how this happened because we watch him like a hawk, but I guess one wrong fall and that is all it took. He is walking everywhere these days and sometimes he does take a pretty good spill. Out of all the bones to break he picked one that doctors can't do anything for. It is really not bothering him though. He is still into everything and climbing on anything he can. Let's hope it stays pain free for him and for us. Have a great holiday!

1st Christmas
We spent all day Saturday decorating for Christmas and getting the tree put up. Riley loved all the lights and taking the ornaments off the tree. I wrapped all the gifts and Riley loved the ribbons. Needless to say he wasn't allowed to help too much, but he liked to watch.

Walking Riley
Riley has started walking and we are all in trouble now. He loves to pull all the stuff off the shelves and chairs. He doesn't want to play with the stuff he pulls off he just wants to throw it on the floor and then move on to another shelf. It is a lot stay after him, but who can resist the smile he puts out when he accomplishes something he tries so hard to do.
